The Torfs-Leibman family bought scenic ZigBone Farm Retreat in 2009 with the vision of transforming its historic buildings and 100 mountain acres into an organic farm and a peaceful place for people to celebrate with friends and family, create art, strategize for social change, or retreat from the world. Six years and many pulled muscles later, the old farmhouse is now a three-story lodge, the four-car garage has been transformed into an event hall that can hold up to 130 people and the Springhouse has been rebuilt into a luxurious cottage. All the renovation was hand done with straw bale insulation, clay and lime plasters, salvaged timbers, and energy efficient design. Our vision is now a reality and we love sharing ZigBone Farm Retreat.
