"The venue felt like a home. The buildings themselves were so unique and the rooms were warm and inviting. The property was gorgeous and I loved the barn cats, goats and sheep!! The food was amazing and the retreat programming itself was a perfect balance of active time and down time. But the best part, by far, was the people! Everyone felt like a friend, and not just the other participants of the retreat...EVERYONE! From Brenda and Robbie, to Dena and Lenore. I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone I know!" - April I (2023 Fall Participant)
"Entirely wonderful. It was such a positive environment and the classes and food and accommodations were delightful. The hosts and facilitators were SO friendly, the classes were perfect, and I appreciate the acknowledgement of my allergies (removal of apples from salads, etc) and wish to work on my headstand. I really do hope to keep in touch!" - Lauren W (2023 Fall Participant)
Tentative Schedule

Friday: Arrival Day
Welcome/Grounding Yoga and Meditation Class, 90 minutes:
Traveling and arriving to a new place is of course very exciting but it can also create a
sense of chaos, distraction, and feeling scattered. Our afternoon yoga class
will be an opportunity to connect to the beautiful Zigbone Farm.
On our mats, we’ll establish a good foundation, a sense of steadiness and
ease in our bodies and minds while taking in the peaceful, natural surroundings.
Dinner
Evening Meditation
Saturday: Explore Your Heart and Your Senses
Sunrise Yoga Flow, 75 minutes, 7:30 am: Welcome the day with an
energizing all-levels Vinyasa Flow. We’ll start the practice in peaceful
solitude and move as the sun rises over the Catoctin Mountains. We’ll
explore heart-opening postures.
Healthy Baking Workshop
Afternoon Pilates Mat Class:
Whether you’re new to Pilates or have been practicing for years, this class is a
refreshing approach to the classical format. Learn how to engage your core
muscles while simply breathing and discovering new ways to move to
strengthen your core, lengthen your muscles, and improve your posture.
Dinner
Evening Restorative Practice/Yoga Nidra
Wind down from the day by propping yourself into restorative yoga poses.
Theses poses are held in a supportive position to help release stress, restore the connective tissues,
and allow the mind to be at peace. Yoga Nidra (“yogic sleep”) follows.
Sunday: Discover Yourself in Nature
Morning Tree Pose Flow:
Building a practice with tree (Vrksasana) pose as the peak pose is a beautiful thing.
We’ll move through a structured, systematic flow with fun twists and turns to land us
comfortably and well prepared to explore variations of Tree. Discover
yourself in this nature-inspired flow.

About Lenore Fusciello Baker (she/her)
Lenore is the owner of Grace Studios, located in Downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. She and her long-time friend and business partner, Michelle Radecki, opened Grace in November 2014. Their mission was to create a wellness space that would nurture every mind and body in a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment. That mission has been at the heart of Grace Studios ever since. Lenore found her health and wellness career by way of American University, where she majored in International Relations! In her senior year, she realized she had completed all the requirements for her major, so on a whim, she took classes in fitness instruction and wellness promotion. Her life course was changed forever. She began working in corporate wellness teaching strength and Pilates classes, private sessions, and assisting with wellness promotion initiatives. Lenore went on to get her masters in Human Development at UMD, College Park while also becoming a health and lifestyle coach. In 2016 Lenore completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher certification through Grace Studios. The experience was transformative. It deepened her own practice and connection to yoga, while reigniting her passion for teaching. Her style is creative, fun and compassionate. She draws from her deep desire to help each student discover their strength and grace on and off the mat. |
